The post-war housing estate of Kingshurst is around 9 miles from Birmingham city centre. It was once a royal manor, which is where it gets its name of Kingshurst. Today, the area is largely residential, though it is home to the Babbs Mill Lake and it’s extremely close to the Sheldon Hall Stonehouse.
